Tackling IT’s Environmental Footprint

In a world where digital pollution is projected to account for 10% of global emissions by 2030, Sopht’s value proposition is both timely and critical. The French GreenTech startup specializes in reducing the environmental impact of corporate IT infrastructures. Sopht’s innovative solutions help companies manage and minimize their digital carbon footprint, addressing an urgent ecological issue and enhancing competitiveness. As major clients have reported, IT ecosystems can constitute up to 45% of a company's total carbon emissions, underscoring the importance of sustainable IT practices.

Promising Path in Early Stages

Founded in December 2021, Sopht is still in its early stages but has already demonstrated significant potential. With around twenty clients, including notable names such as BNP Paribas, VINCI, and VEOLIA, Sopht is poised for rapid growth. The new funding will accelerate their commercial expansion across Europe, aiming to triple their client base and manage 1 million tons of CO2 within the next four years.
